Buzzkill 02:58
My mind’s on shuffle lately I wrote the words all in reverse How do I put this lightly? You look pretty when you hurt And if there was no consequence The things I’d do Veo a la fisheye lens In a dream safe from view Thanks for trying I had fun tonight No, it was really nothing Or maybe that was a lie Head held underwater What have I got but wasted years? My what a lovely daughter I love how she spits out all her fears These words are for building bridges Not for sanding down to the bone If witches are only legends Then why aren’t you alone? Keep everyone away from me Keep everyone away from me Keep everyone away from me Because it’s getting to the point I can’t control what I say And I can’t sleep Crowded in by empty space The empty threats of my enemy Keep everyone away from me x4

The goth grows up and gets out of town Miss Teenage Pregnancy tries on her gown The streaks of paint arranged on the wall All our anthems, they meant nothing at all Oh, oh, oh x2 The calmest thing that I ever did see, a plastic bag float down the street What a life, to follow the wind Only care for your own scattered convenience Oh, oh, oh x2 No here from now! Oh, oh, oh x2 Teacher, teacher can I ask you a question? Where are the answers for the why (Y) generation? Oh, oh, oh x2 No here from now! I want to get away From what it all means Find the lies In the gold paved streets And it scares me That people change so easily Tell me where you’ve been Tell me where you’ve been This whole time I’ve found a new girl We have an understanding She’ll be headed west And I’ll be stranded

Hate 03:16
Where did you find God? I have something to tell him There’s more to this life Than hell and heaven Good city, good people Please adore me I want to win your hearts And I need the money I watched my empire decline I watched my empire fall I lost all that was mine And I laughed through it all I owned an asphalt dominion Where the heat burns up the mind I don’t care for opinions The idea lives or it dies I destroyed the world I destroyed the world, with one single word I destroyed the world, with a single world I built an army of sand The water washed it away Where the ocean meets the land But I will conquer the waves If God can hear me I want to thank him For all he hath given And all he hath taken I controlled the world I controlled the world, with a single word I controlled the world, with a single word

Black Sheep 03:48
Someone whispers down the hall I guess it’d matter if I cared at all And I don’t (With ears pressed up, up against the wall) I shouldn’t have done it That’s what they all said I found you here in her place instead I can’t say that I do not disagree Black Sheep, she’s lying on the ground Black Sheep, she wants to know how But she has things that I don’t need Black Sheep, she’s lying on the ground As she wipes the blood from her brow And she wants answers I don’t have Staring at me, she’s not mad She’s just a little angry She’s like this about most everything Blaming me like it’s my fault Over shoulders, grains of salt I can forgive, but I can’t forget (Chorus) Let’s have a good time, let’s find someone Let’s have a good time, let’s jump the gun Let’s have a good time, there’s no need for sleep Let’s have a good time x3 There’s no need to speak Someone whispers down the hall I guess it’d matter if I cared at all When she’s out there all by herself Staring at me, the people are gone And it’s an empty street All I can say is… Glad I could help

Tomboy 05:32
There’s a place I’ve come to know But memories fade with time Melodies that comfort me Slowly pass behind As I go, to greet the morning Tomboy, there’s nothing to recognize in me But idle idolatry Tomboy, go and play with the girls Dress until you’re beautiful and whole Then come to me, as nothing It rises from the earth, it rises from the earth Save me Because I’m inches from the ground; I’m inches from the ground Look to the only Lovebird (repeat) There’s a face I’ve come to know But friendships will run their course Sing to me, through your teeth Just sing until the singing hurts And we’ll go; yes we’ll go, as guilty It rises from the earth, it rises from the earth Save me Because I’m inches from the ground; I’m inches from the ground Look to the only Lovebird Tomboy, there’s nothing to recognize in me But idle idolatry Tomboy, go and play with the girls Dress until you’re beautiful and whole Then come to me, as nothing It rises from the earth, it rises from the earth Save me Because I’m inches from the ground; I’m inches from the ground! Look to the only Lovebird, Tomboy

about

This is our first audio recording, and hopefully the first of many more. Whether we find our audiences along the shores of the mighty Danube or amongst the small, friendly villages of the Chilean Andes, it is our sincerest wish that these songs may resonate with people across the world the same angst, discontent, and irrational love that we poured into them. Our second sincerest wish is that they may also justify a small donation to our meager earnings. Thank you to our families who continue to put up with our heady aspirations and the excessive decibel levels emanating from their basements. Another huge thanks to Rodd Fenton, the masterful audio engineer who is happy to work in exchange for Taco Bell, one of his many great qualities. Thank you to our friends who support us at our shows and buy our stuff. Also to Brad Smith, our faithful roadie/compadre and front man of our favorite band, Eggs on Mars.
